The Mullets

The Mullets, a long-time tradition within Myrtle Beach, bring their music back to the Gazebo.  The Mullets have shown local music fans a lot of good times for over two decades. In an era of pop-oriented music, the Mullets continue to carry the torch for rock 'n' roll. The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan and The Allman Brothers are just a few of the old-school rock artists whose songs are performed by The Mullets.

Band members include Bob O'Connor - Guitar, Vocals, Political Views; Terry Amaker - Guitar, Vocals, Popeye Impressionist; Jack Willits - Vocals, Sound, Security; Tom Smith - Bass, Vocals, Former CEO of Food Lion; Russ Flack - Drums, Making sure your house is Safe.

Meet Jeff Norwood... "I ALWAYS WANTED TO Rock and Roll.... Been playing the National resonator guitar for 15 years now. Never had one newer than the 1932 style O I got now. I play mostly in open G with a slide. I love the Delta Blues and I also particularly like to adapt other type songs to the style. I have written songs for a long time and I got some pretty good ones, even if I say so myself. I used to write trying to come up with a "hit". The songs were ok and all but they seemed kinda fake to me. Now I'm doing songs for the sake of the song. I hear these things in my head and they got to come out. If you are a player or a writer you know what I mean. What I'm doing now is working to get these tunes out there to all of you."

"I'm a writer, but I'm a seasoned performer first, so when you come see me play, expect to be entertained. But I guarantee you are gonna hear some Delta Blues and some rock solid Jeff Norwood songs."
